ISRO become the world's first organisation to reach Mars in its first attempt & the the first Asian nation to do so. ISRO spent significantly less than NASA on its Mars mission. Some space observers noted that India's #mangalyaan cost less than the $100 million budget for the space thriller "Gravity."
